3. “…TRAVELLER OF MY OWN…” (2000-2007)
4. “THREE COLORS OF TIME” (2001-2011)
5. “MEMORIES OF A BLIND MUSICIAN” (2000-2007)
6. “BLAS: the man and his legend” (2003-2009)
IFQ: Which are the features of your documentaries?
IG: First of all, we are researching about different composers at the same time and when we have a story, we edit the documentary. So every documentary has several years of maturation period.
We have no unique format for the documentaries. Everyone has its own narrative structure which depends on the music, on the composer´s personality, his life and environment. We used the traditional lineal structure in “TRAVELLER…,” dramatization in docudrama “MEMORIES…,” metaphor in “THREE COLORS…”. For example, in “BLAS: the man and his legend,” we used the reality technique.
The documentaries are open documents, which remain in our hard disk, in case some new information appears, we can reedit the documentary. Several documentaries have two versions already. The research never stops.
