Weekend Killer
Tony Napolitano
born February 11th 1976, born and raised in Queens New York. I have always been fascinated with films. But it wasn’t until five years ago did I realize that making a film was a possibility. A friend of mine had a camcorder and approached me with the idea of making a feature film. At first I didn’t think it was possible with no training or experience no budget. But I sat down and starting writing a screenplay called The Photographer. With my first screenplay finished and armed with a budget of $800 a used 15 inch Apple computer, and a used copy of Final Cut Pro I taught myself, how to edit and we started filming. The Photographer was accepted into The New York International Independent Film Festival and won an award for best feature suspense. I’ve gone on the make two other feature films Behind The Eyes Of A Hitman and my current feature Weekend Killer, and I’m currently in pre production for my fourth. What I love the most about making a film is meeting new people with every project, working with different actors. You start a project and by the time you finish you have 7 – 8 new friends.
