Team America

South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have created a first rate comedy with their puppet flick “Team America.” The film follows the recruitment of Gary, a Broadway show actor into Team America, an intrusive organization that puts to rest terrorism around the globe. The jokes poke fun of everybody and everything and do not function from an explicit political angle. While it may not be necessary to see in a theatre like a lot of comedies, the timeliness of the subject matter is key to the comedy. I am not sure Hans Blix will be in the public consciousness a year from now. You are guaranteed to be laughing for a large portion of this film.
